Description
In order to meet the needs of professional photographers for high-quality Tilt-Shift adapters, KIPON has officially launched the high-end Tilt-Shift adapter brand OCUS®. Special thanks go to Olivier Wolan from ETA SA, Swiss watch manufacture, he gave us a lot of advice during the development for this Tilt-Shift adapters from his rich experience for using tilt shift equipment.
Initially, there will be two series of Tilt-Shift adapters, corresponding to medium-format cameras from Fujifilm and Hasselblad, also some Cine related cameras included.
The product was designed and developed in Germany and will be produced and assembled in Japan. It is expected to start shipping in April 2025. Customers who pre-order now will receive a 25% discount off the standard retail price.
● Tilt range: symmetric ±7 degrees
Tilt axis lies on the image plane: so there is no forced shifting when tilting that then needs to be re-corrected backwards. This reduces the amount of mechanical tilt and shift capability actually needed.
● Shift range: symmetric ±10mm with geared drive
● Two separate endless 360 degree rotation stages, so orientation of the shift direction can be freely selected independent of orientation of the tilt axis
● Positive clamp locks for all axes (tilt, shift, rotation 1 and rotation 2)
● Light trap with wide throughput: achieves greater movement range before vignetting
● Two operational modes:
– Traditional adapter (camera is stationary, lens shifts and tilts)
Available for the following camera mounts on rear, please kindly send us your choice when you place the order:
A: Fujifilm GFX /MF
B: Hasselblad XCD /MF
- Parallax-free “rear standard” using optional accessory ring bracket (lens is stationary, camera shifts and tilts). Ring bracket can be rotated to orient shift axis as desired. Please note this rear standard accessory needs to be purchased separately.
If you want acessory ring bracket, please order here: Preorder Rotating Support for OCUS Pro Tilt & Shift Adapter – KIPON
● Basic lens mount on front is Canon-EF, which can be adapted to most of lenses through wide range KIPON adapters.
