Upgrade instruction for Leica S-GFX AF
- Prepare a PC or MAC computer and a standard TYPE-C usb cable
- download the new upgrade firmware zip file from official website and unzipped it, the file name is LeicaS_GFX VXX.DAT, please note xx is version No., Such as LeicaS_GFX V10.DAT means it is 1.0 version
- connect the adapter(Do not connect camera or lens to the adapter) to the computer with standard TYPE-C usb cable, there will be a disc named"KIPON" in the computer, copy the unzipped LeicaS_GFX VXX.DAT to the disc, wait a few seconds, it upgrades successfully when the former version firmware is removed automatically and a new“KIPON” disc restart.
Note: please do not copy any other file to the "KIPON” disc other than official update firmware.
